The Hearta heart made on a willow coursewillow podWillow BitternsWillow Dogwillow wader Carole Beavis

I have been taking a rest from running any courses for this last 18 months whilst I was waiting for a hand operation, but that’s all now better and I am looking forwards to starting teaching again.

One or two day willow sculpture tuition may be available for guests of Ceg y Bar Bach. The studio is warm and light and would be a lovely activity to enjoy on a winter break.

For groups of 4-8 one off courses can be arranged, please give me a call if you’d like to know more.

“We had the best time, ever. It was great to benefit from your artistic vision, learn something new and be pushed out of our comfort zone! We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and supportive teaching. Lunch was delicious.”

I was absolutely convinced I would make a total mess of my willow duck, I’m not at all creative, and Gill and Julie are, so I was expecting to be worst as usual, but Carole was so patient and careful to explain everything, I think mine came out better than theirs! maybe I’ve just been trying the wrong crafts! Thanks for a lovely day Carole.

“Many thanks for the warm welcome and a really inspirational day that was also great fun! We left with a whole armoury of new skills and ideas that we can't wait to put into practice. Your guidance and tutoring was pitched exactly right for us both, so we gained confidence as we worked. The work that we completed is now taking pride of place in our garden - we love these unique pieces because we made them!”
